Tavern on the
Hill is the restaurant that showed Central Pennsylvania
how great a steak can be. Carefully selected
prime-cut beef, aged for tenderness and cut thick
to preserve juiciness, are seared
to perfection and simply seasoned with a touch
of salt and black pepper because steaks like
ours need nothing else.
Our seafood
is delivered daily from ports of Baltimore and
New York. Chef Daskalakis chooses
only the freshest and best quality
seafood and prepares it in such a way
as to accentuate the natural flavors of the sea
without overwhelming them. The Chef consistently
keeps his eyes open for unusual items to place
on the Tavern's Seasonal-inspired Blackboard
Special Menu which changes from week-to-week
and sometimes from day-to-day. Our Blackboard
Specials Menu occasionally offers rarer items
such as Chilean Sea Bass, South African Lobster
along with varieties of fish, mollusks,
shellfish and high-grade meats and poultry.
Accompanying
sidedishes are prepared in unexpected taste sensations
using the freshest vegetables and herbs.
All menu items are skillfully-prepared in our
kitchen with a focus on a specific style or cuisine
and artfully presented for our guests' visual
enjoyment as well as taste sensation.
